MEET GEMMA!
Gemma is a sweet but very shy lady. She is a pit bull X Lab, who will be 6 years old next month. She is currently spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm and is on prevention. She has been great about her housebreaking here.
She came to us after she was found tied to a tree in Riverside Park. Her previous owner was not able to be located for various reasons, and now Gemma is looking for a new home. She is slow to warm up to new people, and is quite nervous around men specifically. But once she knows she can trust you, she is an absolute lovebug! She rides great in the car, but could use some leash manners. She did OK meeting another dog, but a meet and greet will be required with any potential new dog siblings. She was interested in the cats, but not overly so. She would do better in an adults-only home, or one with teenagers and above.
