Sweet Gemma
Gemma is about 5 years old and has already been through more than any dog should—she was found tied to a fence and left behind. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was scared and unsure if she could trust anyone. With time, patience, and gentle care, she’s slowly beginning to open up.
Gemma is a quiet, sensitive girl who just needs the right person to help her feel safe. She’s food-motivated, walks nicely on a leash, and is making progress every day—though she’s still a bit leash shy and will benefit from continued training.
Gemma would do best in a calm, adult-only home with no other pets. She needs an experienced, patient owner who can give her the time and understanding she deserves. In the right home, Gemma has so much love to give and will truly blossom.
