Meet our super handsome and sleek boy named Harvey!
Harvey is about 1.5 years old and he came to our shelter after he was abandoned by his owners. A resident in our town allowed someone to leave Harvey at their home for a couple nights, but they never came back for him. Now Harvey is looking for his forever family!
Harvey is a young boy who enjoys a good head and butt scratch. He has started to get more affectionate with us here and he learns routines very quickly. Harvey is a playful guy who especially loves the kong shaped toys. He will play fetch with those over and over until he is tired out.
Harvey is a smart boy who listens well for treats or toys. He does have some dominant energy, so he will need a confident dog owner who will work on some basic training with him. Harvey did great at our vet office and loved everyone there. He is fine with other dogs, but we think he will want to be the dominant dog in the home.
He can go to a home with older children 15 years old and older.
