At 10 years old, Lil Genie never imagined she would lose the home she knew. When her owner lost their home during the winter months, Genie lost everything familiar too — her routine, her cozy place to sleep, and the person she loved most.

Now this sweet 25 lb senior girl is struggling to adjust to shelter life. The loud barking and constant kennel activity can be overwhelming for her, and she would thrive in a quiet home where she can finally relax and feel safe again.

Outside of the kennel, Lil Genie is loving, spunky, and full of personality. She enjoys comfy beds, treats, and gentle affection. She’s looking for a calm home with no other pets where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love and peace.
