MEET MIKEY — 7 YEARS YOUNG!

Seriously… LOOK AT THAT SMILE.

Mikey is a handsome 7-year-old Pit Bull who recently found himself at our shelter after being surrendered by his previous owner. And we have to tell you — this guy has completely stolen our hearts.

Since arriving, Mikey has been nothing but sweet, friendly and affectionate. He loves people, does well with other dogs, and seems pretty convinced that everyone he meets is his new best friend.

And apparently nobody told Mikey he's seven because this boy still has PLENTY of pep in his step! He’s playful, energetic, goofy and always ready to flash that gigantic smile.

Because Mikey is getting into his mature years, we think he'd be happiest in a home without very young children or toddlers. This has nothing to do with aggression — we'd simply like him to have a home where little hands aren't climbing, pulling or crawling all over him as he gets older.

Mikey didn't expect to be starting over at seven years old. But maybe starting over means his best chapter hasn't happened yet.

Someone out there is going to be incredibly lucky to call this goofy, smiling boy theirs.
