From starved to safe, now ready for a new home .
At just 9 months old, Ruger has already been through more than any puppy should. He was once starved and neglected, but thankfully, his story didn’t end there.
Today, Ruger is safe, healing, and ready for the next chapter of his life-a forever home where he will be loved, cherished, and never go hungry again.
Ruger deserves to know what it feels like to be part of a family. He deserves a warm bed, a full bowl, a gentle hand, and someone who will promise to never give up on him.
Ruger is a gentle soul, who loves everyone he meets. It is evident to us that he was denied basic care, so he will need to continue to learn basic fundamentals like potty training. A leash was once a foreign thing to him, but he is a quick learner. Although he may need some basic training, this sweet boy is eager to please and very treat motivated, which will aide in his training.
Our boy loves other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking to add a playful, loving pup to their home. We’re not sure his breed/s, but it involves a whole lot of cutenessOur Vet estimates he should weigh around 35-40 lbs fully grown.
His past does not define him. His future is waiting.
