Here we go again folks. Meet #013 who we have named Wink! This extremely sweet little senior dog was supposedly found in Meriden near the intersection of East Main and Pratt St on 7/9/26. He is quite tiny, and we think he could be a Chinese Crested. Our vet staff is estimating Wink to be about 13 years old or older, and clearly he needs help! The giant mass you see between his legs is his scrotum that is completely filled with fluid, and inside is a large, hard tumor. He also has a rotten mouth that needs a full dental.
We are asking our followers to consider making a donation towards Wink's medical care! Our vet staff is willing to try and surgically remove the large tumor inside his scrotum, and remove all the extra skin around it, as well as perform a full dental on him. The tumor will be sent for biopsy. We have received an estimate of $1600 to have this done. This little boy has clearly been through a lot and we are told he has likely been living like this for an extended period of time. We are confident that, if he receives this necessary surgery, Wink will still have time to enjoy life without pain and suffering. At this time Wink does not have any masses inside of his body.
We are hoping to raise at least $1000 to go towards Wink's surgery. As a Municipal shelter, we rely heavily on donations. Without monetary donations from our supporters, we would not be able to give a dog like Wink a second chance at life.
