Sometimes the best dogs aren't the easiest dogs—they're the ones worth putting the time into. Lordi is one of those dogs.
At just 8 months old, Lordi is a handsome Shepherd mix with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and enough energy to keep you on your toes!
Lordi is FULLY VETTED & what we lovingly call a "mouthy puppy"—he's playful, bouncy, and still learning the rules of being a good canine citizen. Because of his exuberant nature, he is looking for a home with an experienced Shepherd family who understands the breed and is committed to continuing his training.
Lordi's ideal home:
Shepherd-savvy owners
No young children (he's still learning that not everyone wants to be tackled with love!)
No cats
Good with dogs he's met, but a meet & greet with any current dog is required
An active family willing to provide plenty of exercise, structure, and mental stimulation
A home where he won't be crated for long periods of time due to his high energy level
Despite his puppy antics, Lordi is a smart boy who wants to please. Lordi walks well on a leash and has been on visits to Town Hall as he LOVES people.
With consistency, training, and plenty of opportunities to burn off energy, he has the potential to become an amazing companion.
