We Help Local Dogs
Every business should solve a problem. We provide affordable and effective advertising for businesses of all sizes, and we are combating the homeless dog crisis by helping dogs find and stay in loving homes.
As the website grows we will be adding educational resources for dog owners to find help and support.
In the meantime we are helping overcome the financial strain many dog owners face by donating collected food and supplies to municipal shelters, and community programs. In the long term we strive to build and stock additional free cupboards in locations where they will help an underserved population.

We often get asked, “why dogs?” With so much going on in the world, why do you choose to help dogs instead of people or another cause? For us, the answer is simple. Helping dogs IS helping people, because dogs are so much more than just an animal. They are companions, hope, comfort, protection, peace, and unconditional love. Dogs are the reason many people get out of bed each day, and give them a reason to come home, Dogs are unable to care for themselves, and they rely on us to ensure they are fed, warm, and safe. We refuse to live in a world where man’s best friend is cast away because it’s too expensive to feed them. Food is such a simple thing, but minimizing that financial burden for many just might be the difference between surrendering and surviving. Dogs are so much more than just dogs. They are the heartbeat of our community and a reminder that beauty and hope exists in even the darkest times. For us, it’s not just about dogs. It’s about the human spirit and the ability to keep going through the toughest of times.
Cupboards will be built and installed at SSLH partner locations where they can be accessed easily 24 / 7 / 365.
Cupboards will be stocked with food, often purchased from SSLH business partner locations, or donated during SSLH scavenger hunts by players.
A QR code inside each cupboard allows individuals to register requests for more specific assistance (special food, spaying / neutering, preventative flea / tick / heartworm or other veterinary assistance for example)
Through these QR codes individuals can also report concerns about local dogs who might need assistance without worry of their identity being revealed.
