Meet Poppy – Our Sweet Survivor Looking for Her Forever Home!

Poppy is a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Maltese mix with a heart full of love and a story of incredible resilience.

Poppy came to us from a hoarding situation while pregnant. Sadly, she suffered a miscarriage and lost all of her puppies. During her medical care, we also discovered and removed a large mammary tumor. After weeks of healing and lots of love, we’re thrilled to share that her tumor was NOT cancerous!

Today, Poppy is healthy, spayed, up to date on all of her vaccines, and finally ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family who will love her the way she deserves.

Poppy absolutely adores people and soaks up every bit of affection she can get. She does have a bit of a “main character” personality and prefers to be the center of attention, so she would do best as the only dog or in a home with a very calm, easygoing canine companion.

If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will fill your home with love, Poppy is your girl. Just be warned… she’ll steal your heart and probably your favorite chair!
