Everybody please congratulate Fritz on his big career move: this handsome little polar bear has officially graduated from Rescue Only to Application Required.
That means Fritz can now go to a qualified home, and we are so proud of him.
When Fritz came in, he was underweight, scared, and had reportedly been living on the street for a few days before he was found roaming. He needed a little time to settle in and realize the Pound was not, in fact, another stop on his questionable wilderness tour.
Now? Mr. Fritz is showing us the sweet, goofy snow beast underneath.
Fritz loves to run around the yard, sing the song of his people, and generally behave like a tiny Arctic weather event with feelings. The Puerto Rico song has been stuck in our head for days, but please let the record show: Fritz is absolutely not an island dog. This man is giving “mildly dramatic polar bear looking for a couch.”
Fritz is looking for a calm, fairly quiet home with husky experience. He will need a very secure yard and a good fence, because huskies do not believe in borders, rules, or your plans.
