Meet Keeley Jones, our very own sweet land hippo with a heart of gold and absolutely no plans to respect personal snack boundaries.
Keeley is a larger lady, and we will not be taking questions about her summer body because frankly, she is perfect. She came to us with a pretty miserable skin condition, and we have reason to suspect this sweet girl was used to have litter after litter of puppies, then dumped when her body needed care. Thanks to the meds from Dr. Larson and Co. at Woodland Veterinary, her skin is healing and she is already starting to feel so much better.
She has one more recheck later this week, and then she’ll be ready to find her forever home.
We think Keeley is a bit older, and what she needs now is simple: to be loved for exactly who she is. No more puppies. No more being used. No more being discarded when she needs help.
Just a soft place to land, a couch to curl up on, a summer barbecue to supervise, and a person who understands that a sweet bully girl with a little drool and a big heart is basically perfect.
