Frequently Asked Questions
-
The only way to know for sure if a dog is still available is to contact the shelter directly. While we do update the directory daily, the shelter has the most up to date information.
-
When we receive confirmation that a dog is adopted we delete the profile. It’s likely a broken link means the dog is no longer available but you can also search by town to see if they are still posted on the main section of the website.
-
Every shelter is different. Many profiles include an application for the shelter at the top of the page. It’s always a good idea to check the shelters website or social media for adoption instructions.
