The Library of Things

Treat yourself to a new hobby, explore a new place, test out a new game, and so much more, for free!

It’s called the “Library of Things” and in CT you can access thousands of items across the state.

In Connecticut, your library card can be used at many other libraries across the state, and you can check out so much more than just books, dvds, and board games.

You probably know that you can get museum passes and passes to local attractions but did you know you can check out outdoor games, sewing machines, musical instruments, cake pans, cookie cutters,, balloon arches, tarot cards, air fryers, mini projectors, vlogging kits and so much more!

Borrowing guidelines vary by location so call your local, or not so local library to ask about their Library of Things! It’s completely free and a fun way to explore a new hobby, jazz up a rainy day or just try something new.
