Did you know that CT registered vehicles get free parking at all state parks across the state?

Connecticut launched the passport to the parks program that includes a surcharge on vehicle registration that eliminates the parking fee for all CT registered vehicles to park at any state park. So while I guess it’s not exactly FREE, you won’t pay to park on the day of your visit.

Some state parks also offer exhibits or tours that may require an additional fee but access to beaches, hiking, biking and all around exploring of the great outdoors at state parks is completely free!
